Keeping true to it’s image and involvement in social action, MUSITECHNIC has once again rallied the generosity of it’s employees and students. This time to help provide shoes and socks for the homeless. We have managed to amass more than 70 pairs of winter boots to give to LE PAS DE LA RUE. The mission of LE PAS DE LA RUE is to welcome, support and encourage any person aged 55+ who is homeless or in serious poverty. In order to do this the organization offers a variety of support measures both at the street level and with housing programs as well as through it’s hospitality and support in the day center. The goal is to accompany the individual and raise their living conditions while improving their well-being by integrating them into the community.
MUSITECHNIC partnered with LE PAS DE LA RUE last spring by volunteering at a February Sugar Shack and have already confirmed their presence with the Director, Robert Beaudry, to attend the Christmas dinner on December 14 to help serve the less fortunate. We challenge you to follow our lead and do what you can to help those who have problems helping themselves.
