Additional health protection measures
Air purification systems
We have installed brand new Air purifiers expressively meant to give students, teachers and staff an even more secure place to work at.
Those new devices target the airborne SARS2-COV-2 (COVID19) virus by filtering the air through 3 types of technology: UV-C, Hepa Filters and ActivePure (Negative Ionization Technology).
This means we are equipped to reduce over 99.9% of airborne SARS-CoV-2 viral particles in all of our facilities for a safer environment.
Computer & Software updates
New Computers
We have added 30 brand new, state-of-the-art, Apple computers equipped with 32 Gb of RAM memory and an 8th gen I7 CPU from Intel.

All of our workstations has been upgraded to the brand new Izotope RX Post Production Suite 5. It includes 9, state of the art, groundbreaking post-production tools, that use artificial intelligence to deliver incredible results.
This means that you have access to updated workstations,
each with more than 9.000 CAD worth of new technology and plugins!
Updated opening hours & Stepping out of Zoom
Updated opening hours
- As of March 13, 2021, the School is once again open on Saturdays, from 10:00 to 16:00.
- Since March 22, 2021, the School is back to its usual hours.
Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 20:00. Classes start at their usual times (09:00, 13:00, 17:00).
Stepping out of Zoom
- We are extremely aware that using e-learning as a training tool comes with benefits and challenges. It is mentally taxing for everyone involved, to both teachers and students.
- Slow and steady wins this race: the pandemic has not ended, and we have to comply with the government restrictions. We have managed so far to stay COVID19 free to give you the opportunity to be at school and use the facilities.
- Musitechnic continuously monitors the pandemic to reinstate as much as possible, and gradually, the in-person classes. Labs and studios will continue to require you to be there, hands on gear.
- As we step out of the red zone, Musitechnic is planning to relax measures such as: not allowing external guests in the studios.
Rest assured that all of our team’s effort is aimed towards improving and making this, your Institution, a better place every single day.
